All client sites are accessible over HTTPS using 256-bit SSL certificates. User passwords are encrypted using one-way hashes. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available and recommended for all accounts.

Business Continuity
Nightly backups of SQL data and document stores are replicated from AWS to Azure. Azure hosts standby servers running day-old backups, ready to take over in a disaster scenario ensuring minimal downtime.

Data Sovereignty
We provide instances hosted in Ireland (EU) and London (UK) for our European clients, and North Virginia (US) for our American clients. Data does not move off cloud servers without explicit client permission.

Backup & Validation
All cloud servers are backed up nightly using in-house developed scripts. SQL data and document stores are copied to redundant application and database servers on Azure.
- Daily: Live server data from AWS backed up to Azure.
- Retention: Azure holds previous 30 days of backups + 1 for the last day of each month. AWS retains previous 7 days.
- Validation: Database integrity is automatically checked upon restoration to redundant servers.
Development Security
Sysero software is developed entirely in-house. Developers work on virtualised machines accessed via a secured Router-based VPN. No data (other than cached email) is stored on local laptop drives.
